The Gallo Passive Subwoofer is not so much a true subwoofer as it is a dedicated woofer module for the Nucleus Micro satellites. It was designed with a single purpose. To handle the bass for a pair of Nucleus Micro satellites. This woofer also incorporates our proprietary 'S2' technology. You will get the slam and extension expected from a pair of large bookshelf speakers from a single steel sphere small enough to fit out of sight in your room. It does not contain the usual equalization found in powered subs. Such equalization would prevent you from hearing what the producer intended when the music or sound effects were originally mixed at the studio. The primary applications are for stereo listening and to augment the front or rear channels in a home theater system. Available in black or white. |
